They lived better,
knew better,
and are gone forever.

Not a dent they could leave behind beside a few stones. That’s it.

They can’t do any more good,
they can’t do any more bad on this Earth.

I’ve always been attracted to ancient places and civilizations with an “I wish lived then,” sentiment. I find peace in reading my own eventuality written in the stone clear as day:

If it all goes well, I will also be gone forever.
