When it gets tougher than that,

I drive.

I consider the turns I might take,
I recount those that I didn’t.
Because of how many times I have done this,
I know that once again
I’m not going to take any turns at all.

Today, I didn’t even make it to the beach.
I turned around before Brentwood.
